DREAM COME TRUE! ROCKING WITH YOU ALL WAS AN INSANELY FUN, A TIME WE WILL NEVER FORGET.OUTLAWS HAS THE BEST JAM AT THE END OF EVERY SONG THEN ANY OTHER GROUP EVER! TIM IS SORRY HE WAS KICKED OUT BUT BS'D HIS WAY BACK IN BACK IN PLAYING HIS AIR GUITAR:)THEN "ROCKED OUT" WITH THE NICE SECURITY GUARD TO GHOST RIDERS! WE KNEW THE NEW OUTLAWS WOULD BE GREAT BUT EXCEEDED FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. TIM SAYS THE LAST TIME HE SAW THE OUTLAWS WAS IN PORTLAND OREGON WITH MOLLY HATCHET, AS WARM UP BAND, IN 1980. Greetings from Brazil! His music is a legend, brings us to the time where values like pride, honor and honesty still resist! "It's About Pride" is a great album, the eponymous song is an anthem and "Flame" is a praise! Long live the gunmen! Please come to Brazil! Best regards!

I was the only student at my high school that had 860 students that knew who the Outlaws were and the majority of their music by them. But I've gotta say that "It's About Pride" really changed me.

Cant wait to see you guys in Newport News. I worked at The Cabaret in San Jose CA with Jack in the booking office back in the 80's when we had you there. You guys rocked the house to the foundation!

It's About Pride - what a great symphony! I am so stoked that y'all are together, doing such GREAT music! Yep, I'm an original fan - geez, from the mid 70's, and always got off on GGHTF and the rest - but It's About Pride is current, flowing, positive and pure Outlaws music! Thank y'all - and I can't wait to hear you in Newport News - but, y'all NEED to come to Richmond, VA - we're all waiting for you! WOW! I'm stoked!

Back in 79, a much younger version of myself went to his first concert on his 18th birthday with several band-mates to see their idols. Point Blank opened the show, followed by Molly Hatchet...who did a fine job getting the crowd primed for The Outlaws. Went to countless concerts over the next several years, but this one really stood out. We had based our cover band in The Outlaws 3 guitars, 2 drummers format, so seeing you guys burn it up live was thrilling. I introduced my wife to you and since, my kids. I followed you guys through the departure of Henry Paul, but I missed the songs he contributed. I was so excited to hear a NEW album was being released, but feared it could never live up to the old sound, particularly without Hughie or Billy. To me, "It's About Pride" falls right into place to what I had imagined a follow up to Hurry Sundown would have sounded like. Still miss Hughie and Billy, but I'm sure they would give this their stamp of approval as well. Rock On, men! And get you're asses down to Jacksonville so we can hear you again!

Well its Monday morning and I think I'm finally able to wrap around what happened Friday night in Sacramento. It all started with meeting Henry Paul in the lobby of the hotel and him sitting down with me and my wife and just shoot the shit about the past and the present.what a honor. Then one by one all the guys in the band came by all still very cool. And still thats just the beginning;we met some of the most groove people ever you know who you are Tim james and summer from oregon/ Frank our neighbor and the bass player and penelope for all the photos you took hope we gave you the righe email add.It would take 10000 words or more to tell the story of that night and how great the band was.Thank YOU OUTLAWS ONE OF BEST NIGHTS OF OUR LIFES.......

Been a fan since 77 when I first seen them at the Ohio University in Athens Ohio. Been one their greatest fans ever since. Hughie Thomasson and Billy Jones were the best R.I.P. Southern Rock lives on.

Green Grass and High Tides
I grew up in Lakeland, Fl and started listening to the original group in the late 70's. In 2009 my daughter got me an ipod and one of the songs that she loaded for me was Green Grass and High Tides off of a Southern Rock CD. In July of 2011 I had a lot going on personally and this song became my go to song. Six months later I reconnected with an old friend I briefly dated in 1980. He is a big fan of Henry Paul and he grew up in Lakeland, Fl also. While looking for a CD for him I was able to find the Best of the Outlaws and another CD. Have been following your group ever since and and can't wait to get It's about Pride on my IPOD and a CD for my friend. You guys rock southern style.

Thanks Curtis! So the best experience would be to get the after show and a seat with the sound man. And that, sounds like a plan. All that's left is to wait for them to come back. Cool!

After seeing you open up for 38 special at the L.A. Fair Ive been looking for your headlinning show to come to L.A. I have seen the Florida Guitar Army at the santa monica civic, long beach arena, open up for the Stones at Aniheim Stadium,at the L.A. coliseum for the world music festival, and in Seattle Wasington in 1981. I went to see Skynyrd 4 days after the Pamona concert, so how about 38 special, skynyrd, and THE OUTLAWS, new years eve at the staple center or the fourm, either one will sell out because of all the old, and new, Southern Rockers.LOVE those songs like,Free Born Man, You Are The Show, and Hurry Sundown,I was at the show in 1978 when you dedicated Green Grass and High Tides to Lynyrd Skynyrd, and recorded Bring Em Back Alive. Looing forward to seeing The Outlaws do it all again because no one knows like the outlaws know, ITS ALL ABOUT PRIDE!
"Experience" for Donna
Curtis & Wendy - Richmond, VA

Hi Donna,
Well, the Experience is just what it's named...An Experience! Now, sitting still during the show while on stage is usually the norm and dancing, swaying, and so forth is generally discouraged. Along those lines, the sound is not better on stage in that Michael Bush, the band's stellar sound man, shapes the aural stimuli for the audience based on the venue's unique aesthestics from his vantage point which usually in the rear/center of the theater. With those less than desirable points covered, the REAL Experience is visiting with the band on the bus after the show. The men are extremely gracious hosts and will keep you completely entertained for the full 30 minutes. We highly recommend it! Enjoy!

Does anybody know how the Outlaws experience works? I mean is the sound any better on stage? And I need to be able to move, sitting still while the outlaws play is a physical impossibility. I assume it is good for whatever show that comes my way, but how long is it good for? What if it takes a long time for them to get close enough? Not to sound cheap, but it will take a couple paychecks (sad but true) to buy the two person one (to chicken to do it alone, comfort zone thing, out of my element, facing my muse, etc). Anyway just curious how it works. Has anybody out there done it?
