The show at Downstream Casino was amazing. Both bands put on an incredible performance. I only wish the time restraints put on by the casino weren't in place. Great work guys and it was awesome getting to talk to you again. Thanks Henry and Monte.

I'm so glad you decided to make a live DVD finally. I'll be first in line to buy it.There is nothing quite like a live Outlaws show. Make it includes Alex's song. Randy really has a nice voice and chicks dig it. The footage from the TRI show was incredible. not sure if you can use it but it would sure be nice. Can't wait to see what 2013 has in store.2012 was awesome!!!!

I grew up in Tampa. Saw the guys at The Depot on Nebraska ave, 1974. Years later I was out partying with some friends at an old house on Nebraska ave. Me and this dude were slamming beers and other assorted things i wont name. He looked familiar (and near death) so i asked his name. Billy Jones he said. Damn. Best collection of guitar pickers ever assembled. Live long and prosper guys!

Been to over 200 R&R shows : saw 'Skynyrd w Ronnie VZ, Marshall Tucker w/Toy, CDB, Allmans w/Dickie (alas no Duane - he and Stevie Ray are my bigest disappoinments), Molly Hatchet, Doc Holliday, .38 Special, Point Blank . . . but the best I ever saw were Hughie and Billy w/Henry. Lucky enough to see them twice. Those boys scorched the stage. Muchas Gracias to Henry P. for keeping the legacy alive. Just got " ... Pride" and can't wait to give it a listen. Very glad to see that the 2 originals have returned to the fold to Carry On. I WILL see a show this summer, whichever one gets closest to NH (Hint: Casino Ballroom). My best to all : keep Geetar Rockin'.

It's cool that The Outlaws posted your comment. You have to remember these guys are just out working their butts off and when the shows over they just want to get a bite to eat, a beverage, and phone someone close for some love and support. I had the dream of my life come true in Whitefish, MT this summer when by some devine act of providence I just happened to run into the guys on the street. While I wanted to gush about how long I've been a fan etc. etc. I know they are just working men who guys like the rest of us who need a little R&R after the days work. Thanks for you for still being a fan and thanks to all the current lineup of Outlaws for developing more great material and keeping the legend and legacy alive!!!!

Rating: A

The Outlaws have, once again, surprised the masses by releasing what could possibly be the best album of their career. The vocals, lyrics, guitars, guitars and more guitars are executed with the same formula of piss and vinegar, with a dash of country, and a boat load of rock and roll, as their most classic songs.

Originals Henry Paul and Monte Yoho have pulled off the impossible by crafting such a great album without the late Hughie Thomasson, who was as much the heart and soul of the band as is Paul.

“Tomorrow’s Another Night” is a great song that kicks off this rock and roll hoedown with plenty of guitar harmonies. “Nothin’ Main About Main Street” is another killer Outlaws song that you will swear came out in 1974. The country flavored “Hidin’ Out in Tennessee” is the best song on the album and should be a crossover hit.

“Trail of Tears,” “It’s About Pride,” “Alex’s Song” and “Trouble Rides a Fast Horse” all harkens back to the days when the rock radio was shanghaied away from pop acts and blasted the likes of the Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers and the Marshall Tucker Band. The album ending “So Long” is an epic song that leaves the listener wanting more.

This is one of those albums that keeps calling you back to it. It is southern fried perfection and, as mentioned earlier, came out of nowhere. It is an album that must be listened to from start to finish and the guitar playing on this album will have your jaw on the floor and your fist in the air.

This may just be the best release, so far, in 2012.

This one goes down well with a cold beer, a hot bowl of chili and, for dessert, a little pinch between your cheek and gum.
